Chien-Ming Wang goes 6 innings for the win, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and 6 strikeouts. He walked 3 batters. The win was number 19 on the season.

Johnny Damon had 3 hits; a double and 2 singles.

Derek Jeter homered, doubled and singled, driving in an RBI.

Jorge Posada singled 3 times and drove in 3 runs.

Robinson Cano homered and singled, driving in 5 Ribbies.

Doug Meintkeiwicz doubled twice and singled twice, driving in a run.

The Yankees smashed 12 hits in the 5th and 6th innings to erase ANY doubt from this game. Look for a semi-minor league line-up for the next couple of days as Joe Torre rests his starters. It's been a LOOOOOOOONG year, but it feels quite a bit shorter right now.
