When he was in eighth grade and was aboutto switch from parochial school to a public school, we sent him over to the Y to play basketball against older kids as a way of toughening him up. He went, but he took his mother with him.

What a total crock of ****. I watched an episode of "The Bronx is Burning" tonight, and figured I'd look up Munson's career stats. He was a JOURNEYMAN talent who happened to land on the Yankees. TEN stinkin homers a year, for a catcher??? Thurman Munson, Hall of FAMER???

You people need to get a grip.
